About BioMeetUp

Why we built BioMeetUp

BioMeetUp is building an always-on intelligence and partnering platform for life sciences — so discovery, relevance and connection continue throughout the year.

Some of the most important relationships in life sciences begin at conferences — a conversation between a biotech company and an investor, a chance introduction to a CRO, a clinical trial site meeting a new sponsor, or two organisations discovering they have complementary goals.

But the ecosystem doesn’t stop when the conference ends.

Opportunities emerge every day. Companies advance. Pipelines change. Trials begin. New capabilities appear. Investment priorities evolve. Yet discovering the right organisations and understanding where there may be a reason to connect remains fragmented, manual and often dependent on who you already know.

BioMeetUp was created to change that.

A more connected life sciences ecosystem

BioMeetUp is building an always-on intelligence and partnering platform for life sciences.

Our aim is simple: make it easier for organisations across the ecosystem to discover one another, understand potential relevance, build visibility and start meaningful conversations — throughout the year.

Rather than replacing the relationships, expertise and human judgement that make partnering work, BioMeetUp provides a digital layer around them.

Technology helps organise a fragmented ecosystem.

AI helps surface potentially relevant organisations.

Digital presence helps companies remain discoverable.

People decide where the real opportunities are.

Start with what you’re trying to achieve

Traditional directories begin with a list. BioMeetUp begins with your goal.

You might be looking for a CRO with experience in a particular therapeutic area, investors aligned with your company, clinical trial sites with relevant capabilities, technology partners, or organisations that could complement your strategy.

Goal AI Matching uses what you’re trying to achieve, together with available company and ecosystem intelligence, to surface organisations that may be relevant and provide context for why.

The goal isn’t to replace your judgement. It’s to give your judgement a better starting point.

What we believe about conferences

Life sciences networking shouldn’t depend on the next conference. We believe conferences will remain an important part of life sciences partnering. BioMeetUp isn’t trying to replace them. We want to extend what they make possible.

Discover organisations before an event. Understand who may be relevant. Meet in person. Continue the relationship afterwards. Stay visible between events. Discover the next opportunity without waiting for the next conference.

Partnering becomes a continuous process rather than a series of isolated moments.

Read how partnering continues between conferences.

Built for the ecosystem, not one side of it

Life sciences innovation depends on many different organisations working together.

Biotech & pharma companies. Investors. CROs and service providers. Clinical trial sites. Research institutions. Technology providers. Experts and other participants across the ecosystem.

Each comes to BioMeetUp with different objectives. That is why we’re building the platform around strategic profiles, goals and commercial interests, rather than assuming everyone is looking for the same thing.

The more connected the ecosystem becomes, the easier it becomes to understand where there may be a reason to talk.

Technology should create better introductions — not replace human relationships

Life sciences partnering is ultimately human.

AI can analyse information at a scale people cannot. It can help organise complexity, identify signals and surface organisations that might otherwise be overlooked. But it cannot decide whether two organisations should work together. People do that.

Our role is to help people reach potentially relevant people and organisations with better context — so more time can be spent evaluating opportunities and having informed conversations, and less time searching through fragmented information.

A more connected life sciences ecosystem

BioMeetUp is still building toward a much larger vision: a life sciences ecosystem where discovering organisations, understanding potential fit, staying visible and beginning a conversation are not limited by geography, existing networks or the conference calendar.

One ecosystem. Always on. Built around the connections that move life sciences forward.

Networking shouldn’t wait for the next conference.

Search life sciences companies, investors and service providers. See potentially relevant organisations ranked for your goal, with fit signals where available — then connect and start better-informed conversations.
